In recent years, the global community has recognized the urgent need to address the challenges facing our agricultural practices and food systems. With a growing population, increasing environmental concerns, and the need to ensure food security for all, sustainable agriculture has emerged as a vital solution.
Creating more sustainable food systems will depend on emerging new technologies and further developing new tools towards greater innovation and approaches on creating a more economically sustainable world. Such innovations and approaches must create and provide opportunities, generate income. Reducing levels of malnutrition, hunger, and lack of food accessibility will require new approaches to achieve social sustainability, which will increase accessibility to food all over the world. Governments and policy makers should adhere to creating a more environmentally sustainable solution to increase the air and soil quality, to safeguard the resources, and minimize food loss, waste, and emissions.
This first international Conference on “Sustainable Agriculture and innovative Food Systems” (SAIF) aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation in the realm of sustainable agriculture and food systems. Our goal is to foster dialogue among participants and generate actionable ideas to promote sustainable practices throughout the entire food agri-value chain from pre-production, and production to supply chains and consumption.
The (SAIF) conference is an online conference organized by COEUS Institute where all proceedings submitted to it will swiftly be published within three months, where authors can now have their publications featured in Sustainable Landscape and Natural Resources Management (SLNR) book series by Springer Nature. All proceedings will be presented during the conference. (SAIF) aims to explore many challenges and opportunities in creating and developing sustainable food systems as the world is adhering to achieve the SDG goals.
Throughout the conference, we will go through various topics such as regenerative agriculture, organic farming, precision agriculture, climate-smart practices, food waste reduction, equitable access to nutritious food, and the role of technology in advancing sustainable agriculture.
We have brought together a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, panelists, and presenters who are experts in their respective fields. They will share their insights, research findings, and best practices, offering valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in achieving sustainability in agriculture and food systems.
We encourage all researcher who like to swiftly publish their work to contribute and submit their work in a timely manner. Together, we can explore innovative solutions, policy frameworks, and practical strategies to build resilient, sustainable, and inclusive agricultural and food systems. Let us work together to shape a more sustainable and food-secure future for generations to come.
