Dr. Mohd Rosli Mohd Hasan is currently an academic staff in highway engineering at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (Engineering Campus) since December 2015. He earned his MSc in Civil Engineering from the Universiti Sains Malaysia and Michigan Technological University in Asphalt Technology and Transportation Materials, respectively. He received a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. In 2018, he was a Visiting Professor at the School of Highway, Chang’an University, China. Recently, he is a Visiting Scientist at Taiyu Kensetsu Co. Ltd., under a program sponsored by the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF). He is an active researcher with numbers of research grants, and consultant for several local and international projects. Sponsors of his research project include: Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, and National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Mohd Hasan has published at least 80 papers in several local and international journals, and conference proceedings. His research focuses on sustainable transportation materials, asphalt technology, and pavement engineering. He has been involved in several professional organizations including Road Engineering Association Malaysia (REAM), Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA), Malaysia Pavement Society (MYPAVES), and Transportation Science Society of Malaysia (TSSM), Malaysia Research and Innovation Society (MyRIS). He is also served as a reviewer to numerous citation-indexed and non-citation indexed journals.
