is born and graduated in Naples. Since 2001, she is full professor of History of the Architecture and at present teaches History of the Garden and History of the Contemporary Architecture at the DaDi, Department of UniCampania University. She was also Dean of the Department IDEAS (SUN) from 2008 to 2011. In 1994 she wrote her first book about Neapolitan villa and patronage, but her research interests, started in 1985, include also Neapolitan urban history and monastic architecture. Her first essay on Benedictine gardens was published on 2008 and the last, La tête de Naples: le salut de l’âme et du corps. Un cas de remploi au fil dea siécles du lieu plus élevé de la ville ancienne, on 2016. Between them, she studied hermit architecture in the kingdom of Naples, patronage and architecture of female Neapolitan monasteries and convents.
