Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration, with specialization in data analysis and business intelligence. His research interests include knowledge extraction and modeling, multidimensional statistical data analysis, data management and analytics, as well as decision support systems with special interest in the application areas of tourism marketing and management. He also has research experience in semantic web, signal and image processing, neural networks and telemonitoring. G. Stalidis has coordinated 2 EU projects (EPOS and K-LAB, e-Ten program) and one national project (Data analysis and Knowledge Management technologies in planning tourism products, ARCHIMIDIS III program) and participated as technical manager or senior researcher in 20 other EU and 6 national research projects (From 4thFP to 7thFP). He has published 1 book on business intelligence, 25 articles in international journals, 45 in conferences and 1 chapter in collective volume, while he serves as reviewer for several international journals and conferences.
