A publishing editor works in a number of publishing areas; from book publishing, online publishing to journal publishing. His/her responsibility revolves around content and style of publication while paying close attention to deadlines and delivery/publication dates. Training will be provided.


–          Work on/manage a number of publishing activities and journal.

–           Managing the peer review process for journal issue/ book chapters

–          Recruiting editors/ reviewers according to provided guidelines

–          Meeting Manuscript delivery/ publishing deadlines

–          Liaising with publishers, Editors, and advertising and production departments

–          Operating the respective publisher’s online submission System

–          Contribute to decision making and setting goals and milestones for journal/ manuscript development/ review process

They should have very good spoken and written English in addition to being committed and responsible. Applicants should have soft skills and the ability to communicate with participants and scholars and be able to organize any form of data and be able to give provide assistance where needed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Research, plan, write, edit, curate, publish, and promote content on social networking websites, interactive marketing, and related media.
  • Managing different marketing campaigns and consistently evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Execution of Search Engine Optimization on a continuous basis.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, bench-marking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Set digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media, and blogs) where needed.
  • Build strong client relationships through social media and website interaction
  • Document and filter out registrations received and communicate in the process with registrants to achieve better results.
  • Liaise with marketing, event management, design and planning teams to optimize customer experience.


  • Experience: 1-3 years
  • Required Education/Training: BSc/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent.

  • Have a complete understanding of marketing principles and the ability to apply them.
  • Have an understanding of analytics, conversion rates, click-through ratios, and other marketing metrics.
