In more general terms, sustainability is the endurance of systems and<br \/>\nprocesses. It includes the four interconnected domains: ecology, economics, politics, and<br \/>\nculture.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>Sustainability science<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ierek.com\/events\/green-urbanism-3rd-edition\/\"><strong>Sustainability<\/strong><\/a> science is the study of sustainable development and environmental&nbsp;science. It can also be defined as a socio-ecological process characterized by the pursuit of<br \/>\na common ideal. An ideal is by definition unattainable in a given time and space. However,&nbsp;by persistently and dynamically approaching it, the process results in a sustainable system.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ierek.com\/events\/green-urbanism-3rd-edition\/\">sustainable cities<\/a> emerged as a reaction to industrial development and the spread<br \/>\nof advanced technology, which led to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ierek.com\/events\/green-urbanism-3rd-edition\/\">pollution<\/a>, and has become part of the<br \/>\ncontemporary world. It has reached all aspects of life and has several forms; whether in<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ierek.com\/events\/green-urbanism-3rd-edition\/\">climate pollution<\/a>, which extends through the effect of carbon dioxide and methane, and<br \/>\ncauses damage to public health.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Methane is considered the most dangerous gas to the<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>planet and has a number of sources:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u25cf Natural gas fields; where methane is considered the main component of natural<br \/>\ngas, with about 87% of the total extracted.<br \/>\n\u25cf Biogas, methane production is a part of the biogas production process through<br \/>\nfermentation and decaying of organic materials such as manure and sewage.<br \/>\n\u25cf Animal waste; some animals produce methane as part of the organic waste.
