Dr. Mohamed Elsaie is an Associate professor of Dermatology at the National Research Centre in Egypt. He also serves as a voluntary instructor of Dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami; USA since 2009. A graduate of Cairo University (2000), Elsaie completed visiting residency training in Dermatology at the University of Thomas Jefferson in 2002 before obtaining his Doctoral degree in 2010. He completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in dermatology at the university of Miami Cosmetic institute under mentorship of Professor Leslie Baumann followed by a clinical fellowship in dermatologic surgery and lasers at the University of Miami under the mentorship of Professor Keyvan Nouri. Dr.Elsaie is an author of more than 60 published studies, 25 international book chapters including but not only the bestselling (Fitzpatrick′s dermatology in general medicine). Dr. Elsaie was awarded the prestigious Egyptian state prize award in medicine for the first time in 2011 and for a second time in 2017. He received the African Union award for best life and earth scientists in Africa in 2013 and was selected as the best Arab investigator in dermatology by the Saudi society of dermatology in 2017. He was awarded the Egyptian order of excellence of the first degree during the 2017 day of science. Dr. Elsaie is an author of three international books in the field of dermatology and cosmetology He was enlisted in the world biography "Who is Who" in 2012 and has a Wikipedia page edited in his name in recognition of his scientific contributions. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals and periodicals and is an active reviewer for the leading medical journals in Dermatology.
